Volunteering

The Chetek Area Calhoun Museum is run by volunteers, from our volunteer board of directors to special events workers and those who keep the museum open on summer afternoons. We appreciate all who help in any way.

There are many ways to help the Chetek Area Calhoun Museum:

  • Help with a special event.
For example, sell tickets for the Chuck Wagon Dinner, or deliver hostas.
This is a one-time commitment of short duration. A great way to find out how we work!
  • Help plan an event.
If you have some special interest that could be of help to the Museum, let us know!
  • Attend our monthly meetings.
There is no commitment to drop by and see the planning in action.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at the Chetek Senior Center at 7 PM.

Closing an estate? The Chetek Area Calhoun Museum may be interested in collections, memorabilia, and other items that may be of historical interest. Call us before committing that "old stuff" to the dumpster.
